Considered as one of Asia's longest and highest cable car ride, this entire ride comprises of two stages-Gulmarg to Kongdoori, and Kongdoori to Apharwat Peak.

What to expect?
The first phase of the ride takes around 9 minutes, while the second phase takes about 12 minutes. Get panoramic views of the beautiful snow-capped mountains, valleys and forests.

Tips
1. The timings for the ride is from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
2. The fee for phase-1 is Rs. 700 and for phase-2 is Rs. 900.
3. Chair car rides are available for phase-2 at an additional cost of Rs. 300

The  ski season  runs  between January 1st and March 31st  (it might extend if the conditions are good, safe and stable). In our opinion,the best time to ski Gulmarg is between the 3rd week of January to late-February.
